The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund

Posted on: May 26, 2022

The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund provides a wide range of funding to UK registered Charities, Educational Institutions and University Students. Last year (2020/21) we awarded £3,386,462 in charitable and educational grants – you can read more about this in our Annual Review here. This year (2021/22) we expect to spend a similar amount on deserving causes.

We are strongly committed to transparency, working with 360Giving to publish information about our Main and Small Grants. For more information and details of these grants given from 2019 onward, please click here.

The Leathersellers’ Main Charity Grants programme now operates through targeted funding rounds to reduce the number of unsuccessful applications made by charities who will not receive funds. As a committed Flexible Funder, we always aim to be open and provide clear and relevant information. If any of the guidance below or our application form do not meet those standards, please do contact us with any questions or points to clarify/improve upon – we welcome your feedback.
