United in Kind is a social movement aiming to combat loneliness by spreading kindness and helping people to connect with their local community.
RCCE and WECAN have been awarded the contract by Essex County Council to deliver the United in Kind programme across the county. Each district has its own United in Kind Coach who is working to raise awareness of loneliness and isolation; recruiting Community Champions, developing ‘acts of kindness’ and providing communities with workshops and support to deliver their own activities.
